"God has placed me on the planet to become singing," said Evans, as quoted by John Meroney of American Enterprise. "It's what I am passionate about to perform more than anything else, and I'm going to be successful at it." Evans set out to become a household name by re-introducing the classic country hits that were popularized by Patsy Cline. Hank Snow. Tammy Wynette. George Jones. Also Patty Loveless. These musicians Evans considers to be her most influential influencers. Evans was born in 1970 made her first impression in the latter part of 1990, when many country music aspiring musicians turned their attention to pop tunes. This is exemplified through the debut album she released in 1997 called True Lies. True Lies was not a huge success, even though it was loved by critics as well as getting an Academy of Country Music nomination for the best female vocalist. Evans was convinced to alter the repertoire for No Place That Far in 1999 by producers. That gave her the public acknowledgement she'd always been longing for. Sara Evans was born February 5th, 1971 from Columbia, Missouri. Sara Evans was raised with her six siblings.
